What is pneumonia?

Pneumonia is the acute infection of lung involving alveoli or interstitium, or both by one or more co-pathogen. The infection leads to inflammation of air sacs and it may fill with fluid or pus.

It can range from mild to severe depending on the micro-organism causing infection. The infection is life-threatening to anyone but specially to infants, childrens, old age peoples, people with health problems and weak immune system can have serious condition.
